Today's new releases: David Guterson & Chuck Palahniuk

David 'Snow Falling on Cedars' Guterson's new novel, 'Ed King', traces the rise of a Seattle internet billionaire nicknamed "The King of Search". The Seattle Times couldn't say enough good things about it: "compulsively readable and witheringly funny... transcendently dark and dazzling." ... Chuck P. continues his streak of mononymous novels with 'Damned', successor to 'Lullaby', 'Diary', 'Haunted', 'Rant', 'Pygmy' and 'Snuff'. It's a Dante/Breakfast Club mash-up: thirteen-year-old Madison, dead from a marijuana overdose, fetches up in Hell, where she's imprisoned with a jock, a nerd and a punk.
